BLOOMCARE (Baby & Mom's Care: Leopold, Obstetric, Ultrasound, Monitoring, and Consultation)
Aceh Besar, January 2026 – Asian Medical Students’ Association Universitas Syiah Kuala (AMSA-USK) successfully organized a community service activity through the BLOOMCARE work program in Aceh Besar. The event was held offline and involved local residents as participants in various health service activities.
The program aimed to improve public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining health through preventive and early detection approaches. During the activity, participants received basic health examinations, medical consultations, and ultrasound (USG) services assisted by healthcare professionals and volunteers.
In addition to providing health services, AMSA-USK members also conducted educational sessions related to healthy lifestyles, maternal and child health, and the importance of regular medical check-ups. The activity created an interactive and supportive environment where participants could directly consult healthcare personnel regarding their health concerns.
Through BLOOMCARE 2026, AMSA-USK hopes to contribute positively to community health while increasing public access to health education and medical services. This activity reflects AMSA-USK’s commitment to community empowerment and preventive healthcare through meaningful and sustainable social service programs.
